How to Make Windows 7 Look Like Windows XP:
Microsoft finally came up with a good competitor against Windows XP’s features and capabilities. Windows 7 is free from Vista’s common issues and has some added features that surpassed Windows XP when it comes to stability. Its interface looks like Windows Vista, with the speed and reliability of Windows XP. If you are fond of Windows XP, this can be a great replacement for your favorite operating system.
Though its interface is similar to Windows Vista, it’s not quite bad. However, most people still prefer Windows XP’s look. So, if you’re one of them, here’s good news for you: you can now enjoy the benefits of Windows 7 with Windows XP’s good classic look.
1. Change your desktop to Windows XP classic theme.
To do this, right-click on the desktop, then click Personalize. From Personalize window scroll down under Basic and High Contrast Themes, and then choose Windows Classic.
2. If you have Windows Sidebar, you may wish to disable them from startup.
Go to Start, type msconfig. System configuration window will appear. Click the Startup tab then uncheck Microsoft Windows Sidebar.exe. Of course it will take effect upon restarting Windows.
3. Having Windows XP’s look without the Quick Launch icons.
To enable it,  right-click on the taskbar, choose Toolbars, then click New toolbar… On the dialog box under the folder line, copy and paste this location:
%userprofile%AppDataRoamingMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch
Then click Select Folder button. Now, you will see the Quick Launch toolbar on the right-hand side of the task bar. To move it beside the Start menu, drag the line and drop it at the right side of Start button. Right-click on Quick Launch then uncheck Show Text, and Show title.
4. Now that you have your Quick Launch icon, Windows taskbar will not be complete with those pinned icons on your task bar.
Right-click on each icons and click “unpin”. Now, you can change open program icons to show their name just like on Windows XP. To do this, right click on task bar, click Properties. Under Taskbar buttons, click Never combine.
5. There you go! Your task bar is pretty much like your Windows XP. But a desktop is not a desktop without your favorite wallpaper. So choose your wallpaper as a finishing touch.

How to Remove Windows Activation in Windows 7

What is the cause of Windows Genuine Activation appear...??

Because the Windows that you are using is not original and Update mode is activated, then when connected to internet Windows detect that you are using pirated windows. So, Microsoft block your windows and give you warning to activate the Windows that you use. The activation message will be displayed when the new windows in and display it on the lower right corner.

 

How to Remove It..??

After tweaking and Installing Windows Activation tool, but the result did not come nevertheless. Finally, I get an Idea to ask Mr. Google the greatest Search engine in the world. After asking a long and swirling Mr. Google provides a very satisfactory answer, here are his answer:

1. Always Install and use original Windows Operating System

2. If you use pirated Operating system, turn off Automatic Update

3. If your Windows 7 has been blocked and you get a warning Windows Genuine Activation, you can delete it using RemoveWAT

How To Fix A Loose DC Power Jack

To begin the process, you have to disassemble your laptop and remove the motherboard in order to have access to the power jack, for a step by step  instruction on how to remove a motherboard click here. The main fault of the laptop is that the DC power jack terminals is not making proper contact with the motherboard and as a result power supply to the laptop is cut-off. The three basic steps involved in troubleshooting this fault are as follows

• Desolder the DC power jack from the motherboard

• Clean contacts points on both power jack and motherboard with a brush and alcohol

• Solder the power jack back to the motherboard

Step 1
Start desoldering process by adding some new and fresh solder to all three contact points of the power jack on the motherboard, this will make the old solder easier to remove. After the addition of fresh solder to the contact points, begin the removal of  solder on each contact point by heating the point with soldering iron and using the soldering pump to extract the solder. Repeat the same process for all the power jack contact points until you have removed as much solder as possible from each point.

Step 2
Hold the power jack and carefully try removing it from the motherboard, it is most likely that you might not be able to remove the power jack at the first attempt due to some solder bridges still left between the contact points and traces on the motherboard. Carefully shake or wiggle the power jack without applying any significant amount of force and at the same time heat up all the contact points one by one. This will help you to remove the power jack from the motherboard.

Step 3
After the power jack has been removed, clean all oxidized contacts of the power jack with a knife and apply a fresh coat of solder to all the contact points. Use a tooth brush and some alcohol to remove some traces of solder that might still be left on the motherboard, apply a fresh coat of solder to all power jack terminals on both sides of the motherboard.

Step 4
Now you can install the power jack back on the motherboard, as you start soldering the power jack back to the motherboard, ensure that there is no gap between the jack and the motherboard. Carefully solder each terminal one after the other and ensure that it is very firm.

Step 5
At this stage the job is done and the laptop DC power jack is fixed. Now just install the motherboard back into the laptop and you are done.
